The Chocolate Kiss Cakeshop prepares the well-loved desserts of The Chocolate Kiss Café. If you’ve dined in our UP restaurant, then you may have already tried our best-selling chocolate cake, Devil’s Food Cake.

Less familiar to many, the Café traces its sweet beginnings as a home-based cake business. Back then, it was “The Chocolate Kiss Home-Baked Delights”, and it all started in the household kitchen: First baking for family birthdays, then later on, for neighbors, work colleagues, and friends.

Many years of home-baking meant lots of recipe tweaking before we found our favorite cakes. It also meant experimenting with other stuff one could make with eggs, sugar, butter and flour – breads, cookies, Filipino desserts, and various sweets we just feel like trying to make.
